Our Vision

God is love. He loves us more than we could ever understand. In responding appropriately to God’s love, we want to become like Jesus, loving God and loving people, seeing them as God sees them.

We believe that God is changing us to become like Jesus, as individuals and as a body of believers. We believe that through God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, His love, power and truth can transform us into people whose natural inclination is to meet the real and vital needs of others.

“And Jesus answered, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.’” Luke 10:27

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:7-8

Love is our goal. Becoming like Jesus is the key. Becoming like Jesus is also a process. Becoming a Christian is an event, but becoming like Jesus is a lifelong process. We are committed to Jesus and to each other in doing this.
